Paraguay considers highly auspicious the Summit of North Korea and South Korea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Paraguay takes note of the announcement of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, of suspending the tests of intercontinental missiles and nuclear weapons, within the framework of the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and considers that, in this context, the meeting that will be held between this country and the Republic of Korea, at the level of Heads of State, next Friday, April 27, is highly auspicious.

In this regard, the Government of the Republic of Paraguay predicts that this meeting will contribute, to a large extent, to the normalization of relations and to the efforts of the international community for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, in order to achieve a lasting peace in the region.
